Angela Paul’s passion for bridal began with an early interest in fashion shaped by music, pageants, modeling, and work in cosmetics. After spending nearly a decade at home raising her children and operating a home-based business, she entered the bridal industry in 2008 as a receptionist at Dianne’s Formal Wear in Jasper, Alabama, where she quickly fell in love with the world of bridal fashion and the people behind it.
Angela later worked at Bridals by Lori, serving as a buyer for mothers of the bride and groom. She is known for her thoughtful approach and her expertise in helping mothers find gowns that feel flattering, distinctive, and appropriate for the occasion.
Angela first fell in love with Blowing Rock through Jan Karon’s Mitford series in the 1990s. In 2002, her husband’s career brought the family to Lenoir, and Angela began working in Boone at Samaritan’s Purse. During her daily commute, she fell head over heels for Blowing Rock and promised herself that she would one day live there. In 2023, with $500 and a hope and a dream, Angela returned to Blowing Rock to begin making Bonnie Bleue Bridal a reality.
